She married Albert Shrubsole in Port Wakefield, South Australia, 9 November 1892. Albert was born in Inman Valley, South Australia 10 October 1866. Albert was the son of James George Shrubsole and Martha Weston.

Catherine Emma Griffiths and Albert Shrubsole had the following children:

97 vi. Ruby Violet Shrubsole was born in Balaklava, South Australia 3 October 1902.

98 vii. Hilda Evelyn Shrubsole was born in Balaklava, South Australia 3 January 1905.
