11. Emma³ Sweeney (Daniel², John¹) was born Gawler, South Australia 12 January 1866.

She married Thomas Augustus Gaynes in Church Mission Hall, Renmark, South Australia, 30 December 1890. Thomas was the son of James Gaynes. No record of birth in South Australia so is assumed to have emmigrated. Emma assumed the name of Gannaway between the years 1888 to 1890 or was married interstate as no South Australian record exists.

46 iv. Thomas Bernard Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 27 January 1894. Thomas died 28 August 1894 in Renmark, South Australia, at less than one year of age.

47 v. James St Vincent Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 20 July 1895. James died 10 August 1895 in Renmark, South Australia, at less than one year of age.

48 vi. Alma Kathleen Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 14 August 1896.

49 vii. Gladyes Victoria Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 18 May 1898.

50 viii. Dora Majory Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 31 January 1900.

51 ix. Vernon Ronald Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 30 September 1901.

52 x. Leonard Grimshaw Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 19 January 1903. Leonard died 27 March 1903 in Gawler South, South Australia, at less than one year of age.

53 xi. Frank Graham Gaynes was born in Renmark, South Australia 22 July 1905.
