90. Gwendolyn Sophie⁴ Sweeney (Samuel James³, Michael James², John¹) was born Gawler, South Australia 3 Jan 1918.

She married Fergus Ferguson Howie Prospect, South Australia., 4 November 1939. Fergus was born 21 July 1914. Fergus was the son of Thomas Hale Bennett Howie and Orana Florence Grace Sims. Fergus died 15 November 1993 in Royal Adelaide Hospital, North Terrace, Adelaide, at 79 years of age.

Gwendolyn Sophie Sweeney and Fergus Ferguson Howie had the following children:

+ 120 i. Valda Dawn⁵ Howie was born 6 May 1941.

+ 121 ii. Marlene Gwendolyn Howie was born 27 August 1942.

+ 122 iii. Jeanette Betty Howie was born 1 July 1945.
