child 3 ii. Jonathan Reed was born 1832 at Lostwithiel, Cornwall, England. He married Mary Warne who was born 1834 and died at Avoca, Victoria, Australia in 1860.

child 4 iii. Thomas Reed was born 1834. He Married in 1854 Mary Ann Farnsworth who was born in 1837, and died 1878 in New South Wales, Australia.

child 5 iv. Richard Reed, born 1837. He married Anne Henwood on 12 February 1859 at Kooringa, South Australia. (Registered SA Marriages in the district of Burra)

1. William Robinson, born 10 June 1857 at Macclesfield, South Australia, (Registered SA Births in the district of Mount Barker in book 12 on page 612) His parents were Stephen Robinson and Sarah Chapman.

He married on 1 June 1882 at the residence of George Richard Lowe of Macclesfield, South Australia, Annie Blanche Lowe. (Registered SA Marriages, in the district of Strathalbyn in book 131 on page 950),

William Robinson and Annie Blanche Lowe had the following children:

child 2 i. Roy Lister Robinson, born 28 March 1883 at Macclesfield, South Australia.

child 3 ii. Florence Causer Robinson (as registered at birth on registration in district of Strathalbyn in book 401 on page 361) born 25 July 1887 at Macclesfield, South Australia. She married Reginald S.Williams, 1907 at Coolgardie, Western Australia.

child 4 iii. Norman Bridson Robinson, born 1 May 1893 at Macclesfield, South Australia.

Stephen Robinson and Sarah Chapman

1. Stephen Robinson, born about 1821 and died on 31 March 1879 at Macclesfield, South Australia at the age of 58 years, (Registered SA Deaths in the district of Strathalbyn in book 97 on page 71). Stephen was buried in the Anglican Cemetery at Macclesfield, South Australia. His parents are unknown and it is believed he emmigrated to South Australia in the first half of 1850 with two children James and Elizabeth and his wife Sarah Chapman who was born about 1824 and died 16 July 1913 at Parkside, South Australia at the age of 89 years, where she was living at the time, (Registered SA Deaths in the district of Adelaide in book 376 on page 44). Sarah although resident in her later years at Parkside was buried at Macclesfield in the grave of two of her children, Emily and Matilda.

Stephen Robinson and Sarah Chapman had the following children:

child 2 i. James Robinson, whose birth date is unknown but believed to be prior to 1850. He married Eliza Mills on 14 April 1868 at Mount Barker, South Australia. Eliza's father was Edwin Mills.

child 3 ii. Elizabeth Robinson, whose birth date is unknown but believed to be prior to 1850. She married Lewis Chapman on 25 December 1876 at St Luke Church, Adelaide, South Australia. He gave his age as 38 and his father as John Chapman at the time of marriage. Lewis died while being married to Elizabeth at Fullarton Estate, South Australia, on 19 April 1914 at the age of 77 years,

child 4 iii. Susannah Robinson, born 11 July 1850 at Macclesfield, South Australia, (Registered SA Births in the district of Adelaide in book 3 on page 80). She married James Holmes, aged 22 on 22 December 1870 at Macclesfield, South Australia. He gave his father as Henry Holmes at the time of marriage.

child 5 iv. Mary Helen Robinson, was born at an unrecorded location in South Australia on 19 April 1852. (Registered SA Births in the district of Adelaide in book 4 on page 17). "Ellen" as she called herself married Radford Troy Knight in St Lukes Church, Adelaide, South Australia, on 6 September 1871. Radford gave his age at marriage as 25 years and his father as Richard Troy Knight.

child 6 v. Anne Robinson, born at an unrecorded location in South Australia, on 19 March 1854, (Registered SA Births in the district of Adelaide in book 4 on page 309). "Annie" as she called herself died at Macclesfield, South Australia, on 21 October 1877 at the age of 23 years. (Registered SA Deaths in the district of Strathalbyn in book 83 on page 176. Annie was buried in the Anglican Church, Macclesfield, cemetery shortly there-after in the same grave as her father, Stephen Robinson.

child 7 vi. John Robinson, born at an unrecorded location in South Australia, on 15 December 1855, (Registered SA Births in the district of Adelaide in book 5 on page 238). John married Frances Girdham on 14 April 1880 at Holy Trinity Church, Melrose, South Australia. Frances gave her age as 24 years and her father as William Girdham at marriage.

child 8 vii. William Robinson, born 10 June 1857 at Macclesfield, South Australia. William married Annie Blanche Lowe on 1 June 1882 at Macclesfield, South Australia. Annie was 24 years of age at the time.

child 9 viii. Emily Robinson, born 30 September 1859 at Macclesfield, South Australia, (Registered SA Births in the district of Strathalbyn in book 182 on page 26). Emily died 15 July 1881, Strathalbyn, South Australia and is buried in the Anglican Church cemetery at Macclesfield, South Australia, in the grave of her mother Sarah. Emily married Joseph William Elliott on 24 April 1879 in St John Church, Adelaide. Joseph gave his age as 20 years at the time and gave his fathers name as Joseph Elliott.

child 10 ix. Esther Robinson, born 1 January 1861 at Macclesfield, South Australia, (Registered SA Births in the district of Adelaide in book 22 on page 282). Esther died 6 January 1861, (Registered SA Deaths in the district of Strathalbyn in book 13 on page 115). Esther is believed to be buried in the now unmarked grave next to her father in the Robinson plot at the Anglican Cemetery at Macclesfield.

child 11 x. Jessie Robinson, born 10 November 1861 at Macclesfield, South Australia, (Registered SA Births in the district of Strathalbyn in book 23 on page 378). Jessie married Ellen Cope on 3 March 1887 at Seven Hill, South Australia, Ellen gave her father as William Allan Cope at the time of her marriage.

child 12 xi. Matilda Robinson, born 27 August 1863 at Macclesfield, South Australia, (Registered SA Births in the district of Strathalbyn in book 29 on page 611). Matilda died 26 November 1903, Strathalbyn, South Australia and is buried in the Anglican Church cemetery at Macclesfield, South Australia, in the grave of her mother Sarah and sister Emily. Matilda also married Joseph William Elliott one year after he sister died. The marriage was on 20 July 1882 at Macclesfield, South Australia.

child 13 xii. Esther Robinson, born 7 January 1866 at Macclesfield, South Australia, (Registered SA Births in the district of Strathalbyn in book 42 on page 108). Esther also married one of Joseph Elliott's sons, this time Arthur James Elliott on 16 October 1887 at Stowe Congregational Church in Flinders Street, Adelaide, South Australia. Arthur gave his age as 24 years at the time of their marriage.
