70. Horace Theodore6 Brown (Sophia5 Reed, John4, John3, John2, Robert1) was born in Moonta Mines, South Australia 31 October 1875.

He married Ethel Leah Clogg. Ethel Leah was known as "Nel" Known as "Horace" and his wife was known at "Nel" Residences: Moonta Mines and Gawler in South Australia and later moved to Merredin in Western Australia. Occupations: Egg Merchant. In 1929-1978 the egg packing business of William Mitchell Brown was being handled by Horace and the business increased job opportunities for local women by which time up to 70 were employed during the factory's peak. On 19 June 1933 Gawler entered the export trade market with Brown & Co. opening egg factory in Murray Street, employing 60 girls as packers. In June 1977 Farmer Brown egg factory was sold.

Horace Theodore Brown and Ethel Leah Clogg had the following children:

child 126 iv. Jack Brown was born in Gawler West, South Australia 2 April 1904.

child 127 v. Herbert Brown was born in Kadina, South Australia 17 November 1906. Herbert was known as "Bert", was an egg farmer. He served in the Australian Light Horse in the Australian Army.
