She married Ronald Douglas Schubert in Methodist Church, Murray Bridge, South Australia, 4 March 1950. Ronald was born 22 June 1928. Ronald died 4 December 1985 in Murray Bridge, South Australia, at 57 years of age.

Lorraine May Hansen and Ronald Douglas Schubert had the following children:
