He married Elizabeth Ann Walker in Nairne, South Australia, 22 February 1893. Elizabeth was born in Macclesfield, South Australia 24 March 1875. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Walker and Sarah Lacey.

Samuel Baldwin and Elizabeth Ann Walker had the following children:

81 i. Henry Percival⁶ Baldwin was born in Walloway, South Australia 20 November 1893.

82 ii. Amos Austin Baldwin was born in Walloway, South Australia 24 April 1897.

83 iii. Hilda Ivy Baldwin was born in Walloway, South Australia 7 November 1900.
