He married Annie Percy Peek in Mount Barker, South Australia, 23 October 1901. Annie was born 1876. Annie was the daughter of William Bailey Peek and Letitia Stagg.

Louis Hayward Baldwin and Annie Percy Peek had the following children:

120 i. Rita⁶ Baldwin. Believed to have had 2 children, Desmond and Dean.

121 ii. Edith Lettia Baldwin was born in near Saddleworth, South Australia 11 Aptil 1903.

122 iii. Walter Herbert Nooman Baldwin was born in Saddleworth, South Australia 2 December 1904. Known as "Wally".
