1. Samuel¹ Baldwin was born in Cirencester, Gloucester, England 10 April 1756.

He married Alice Packer in Ozleworth, Gloucestershire, England, 10 May 1779. Alice was the daughter of William Packer. Samuel's parents are possibly William or Benjamin Baldwin and Mary Sampson.

Samuel Baldwin and Alice Packer had the following children:
