20. Samson⁴ Baldwin (John³, William², Samuel¹) was born in Leighterton, Gloucestershire, England 1842. Samson died 2 February 1925 in Strathalbyn, South Australia, at 82 years of age.

He married Eliza Chandler in Kensington, South Australia, 27 December 1869. Eliza was born 1848. Eliza was the daughter of William Chandler. Eliza died 25 July 1926 in Strathalbyn, South Australia, at 78 years of age. Samson arrived in South Australia with his parents and siblings 11 September 1857 on board the "Henry Moore". He was married on 25 December 1869 to Eliza who was born in 1848 and died 25 July 1926 at Strathalbyn, South Australia Residences: Leigherton in Glocestershire, England, Strathalbyn, Occupations: Farm labourer Religion: Church of England

Samson Baldwin and Eliza Chandler had the following children:

63 i. Adelaide Elizabeth⁵ Baldwin was born in Western Flat, South Australia 6 October 1870.

65 iii. George William Baldwin was born in Orroroo, South Australia 27 September 1885. George died 14 March 1888 in Walloway, South Australia, at 2 years of age.
