15. Henry4 Baldwin (John3, William2, Samuel1) was born in Leighterton, Gloucestershire, England 1827. Henry died 26 Sepember 1905 in Orroroo, South Australia, at 78 years of age.
He married Charlotte Hooper in Leighterton, Gloucestershire, England, 13 October 1849. Charlotte was born in Ozleworth, Gloucestershire, England 1826. Charlotte died 18 July 1907 in Orroroo, South Australia, at 81 years of age. Henry and his wife Charlotte arrived at Port Adelaide South Australia on 14 July 1853, having travelled from England on board the sailing ship "William Stewart". The pasenger list records: Baldwin Henry, Occupation, Carpenter, From where selected, Gloucestershire, Married, Age 25 years. his wife, Charlotte, Age 26 years. Baldwin James, Occupation, Agricultural Labourer, From where selected, Gloucestershire Married, Aged 23 years his wife, Margaret, Aged 25 years. Also listed on board the William Stewart in the passenger list of the Land and Emmigration Commissioners of South Australia were: Married couples, 138 Single Men, 14 Single women, 37 Children 1 to 14 years - boys, 30 Children 1 to 14 years - girls, 57 Children under 1 year, 12.
Occupations: Carpenter, Wheelwright. Residences: Leighterton in Gloucestershire, England, and Woodville, Macclesfield, Western Flat in 1865, Orroroo and others in South Australia. While resident in Macclesfield in 1879 he is recorded as having occupied under lease, a house and land, Sections 2895, 3714, 60 and 80, belonging to P. D. Prankard. Religion: Church of England.
