58. Joan⁵ Allengame (Walter George⁴, Henry George³, Jane² Allinghame, James¹) was born 1 February 1923.

She married William Raymond Thompson 27 November 1943. William died 13 February 1996 Adelaide, South Australia. Ray was a minister of religion and served in Port Augusta, the Riverland in South Australia and Adelaide among other places. Ray was a great collector of things, stamps, coins, post cards of which he made a collection of early Australian, mainly of South Australian localities. He also had a large collection of books on Australian and religious subjects.

Joan Allengame and William Raymond Thompson had the following children:

+ 112 i. Geoffrey⁶ Thompson was born 2 October 1945.

+ 113 ii. Neil Raymond Thompson was born 18 June 1948.

114 iii. John Thompson was born 10 February 1954. John died 14 February 1954 at less than one year of age.
