24. John Edwin⁴ Allengame (Henry George³, Jane² Allinghame, James¹) was born in Strathalbyn, South Australia 12 February 1887. John died 17 November 1963 at 76 years of age.

He married twice. He married Ella Mona Kneale in Hawthorn, South Australia, 30 May 1912. Ella was born in Inkerman, South Australia 3 January 1886. Ella was the daughter of Henry Kneale and Helen Little. Ella died 30 July 1914 at 28 years of age. He married Myrtle Elizabeth Hannay. Myrtle was born in Davington, South Australia 8 April 1898. Myrtle was the daughter of Herbert Austin Hannay and Margaret Foster. Myrtle died 10 October 1970 at 72 years of age.

John Edwin Allengame and Ella Mona Kneale had the following child:

+ 37 i. Mavis Lillian⁵ Allengame was born 23 July 1914.

John Edwin Allengame and Myrtle Elizabeth Hannay had the following children:

+ 38 ii. Ronald Edwin Allengame was born 1 April 1923.
